2024 Legislative Preview Highlights Education and Housing as Expected Priorities
UNC hosted its fifth annual Legislative Preview ahead of the upcoming session of the Colorado General Assembly. The event featured insight from elected officials and governmental affairs experts, with an emphasis on funding for the university’s proposed college of osteopathic medicine and community perspectives on K-12 funding and housing.
Women’s Basketball Coach Mattio Speaks to the Importance of Supporting University Athletics
When watching Bear athletes compete, the skill and mental focus they have honed in practice is on full display. What can be less obvious are the specific areas behind the scenes that an athletics program could use improvement on. This fall, the women’s basketball team recevied a generous matching gift for their Excellence Initiative to help them advance in the areas unseen by fans. Coach Kristen Mattio speaks to the numerous areas this gift will help improve for her team this year and into the future.
